Lovely clean late seventies Telecaster. This instrument has a few marks that you would expect on a guitar that has been gigged. It is largely original though the pots have been updated and the bridge pickup is, in fact older - 1974 to be precise. The neck is quite chunky and looks to have been carefully re-fretted at some time. This guitar produces all those classic Telecaster sounds - the neck pickup providing that seriously fat tone that only guitars of this breed can, the bridge pickup is wickedly cutting. A fine old guitar which coms in a genuine Fender hard shell case that is showing some signs of its age. |
